The St Helena Island Warders’ children’s cemetery eBook contains original research on the deaths and burials of Warders’ children on St Helena Island, researched by Belinda Daly in 2018. This information has changed our understanding of the lives of warder’s families on the island.
Visually, the actual Children’s cemetery contains only 6 headstones, and is dwarfed by the Prisoners’ cemetery situated nearby. But, as detailed in the eBook, the Warders’ Children’s cemetery has many more burials than has been previously recognised, including 6 new burials and 8 new deaths.
