Great news! 

We’ve finally reached the point of compiling some of the reams of research information and new findings on the history of St Helena Island into some free eBooks.

The social history of the St Helena Penal Establishment’s residents is showcased in many places and events on the island, not least the cemeteries. To mark the start of spring, we’re launching the St Helena Island Warders’ Children’s Cemetery eBook.

 

Those of you who know this small cemetery will know of the 6 headstones present in the cemetery, but I’m happy to say that Belinda’s research has doubled the amount of deaths and burials in this cemetery, so we now know much more than we did!
